The WeatherProof Wire Connector, Model 62® Gray/Red by IDEAL Industries is a twist-on wire connector designed for above-grade interior or exterior electrical connections exposed to damp, wet, or corrosive environments. This product is suitable for electrical distributors and lighting solutions providers requiring reliable wire and cable connections protected from moisture and corrosion without the need for additional sealing methods. It is UL listed to UL 486G for use in damp or wet locations above ground and provides a secure, flame-retardant connection for wire sizes ranging from #18 to #8 AWG copper.
