SpecSeal/Power Shield Electrical Box Insert Firestopping Solution
SpecSeal EP Powershield Electrical Box Inserts are designed to protect steel electrical boxes and maintain fire-resistance ratings of wall assemblies. These intumescent inserts install directly against the back of steel boxes and are suitable for use when the horizontal separation between metallic boxes on opposite sides of a wall is less than 24 inches. Suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, these inserts facilitate firestopping in wire and cable installations and lighting solutions requiring fire-rated assemblies.
