The RectorSeal Metacaulk 1000 is a single-component, intumescent firestop sealant designed for use in construction joints and through-penetrations. It provides a reliable fire-rated and smoke seal suitable for applications involving metal, insulated pipes, fiberglass, plastic pipes, wall joints, and power, telephone, and datacomm cables. This firestop sealant is easy to apply with conventional caulking guns, trowels, or pumping equipment and cures to an elastomeric seal that accommodates dynamic movement. It is ideal for use by electrical distributors, lighting solutions providers, wire and cable installers, and switchgear suppliers requiring fire protection solutions compliant with industry standards.
