Description
OZ-GEDNEY SEG SEGMENTING CSB/CSM SERIES Conduit Sealing Bushings
The OZ-GEDNEY SEG Segmenting CSB/CSM Series conduit sealing bushings are designed for use with insulated wire, cable, and rigid metal conduit. These sealing bushings are suitable for applications involving higher static gas or fluid pressures than standard sealing bushings can handle. They provide effective sealing at conduit ends to prevent ingress or egress of fluids or gases, making them essential components for electrical distributors, lighting solutions, wire and cable installations, and switchgear suppliers.

Features
- Segmented design with segmental pressure discs and slit-neoprene sealing ring allows installation without threading along the cable or enables installation around already pulled cables.
- Seals against external pressure (Type CSBE), internal fluids or gases (Type CSBI), or both with locking collar to prevent movement (Type CSBG).
- Capable of sealing against gas or fluid pressure up to 100 psig (Type CSBG) and 50 psig (Type CSBE and CSBI) for non-segmented versions; segmented design reduces pressure rating by half.
- Constructed from slotted PVC coated steel discs, neoprene sealing ring, stainless steel socket head cap screws and washers; locking collars on Type CSBG are hot-dipped galvanized malleable or ductile iron.
- Optional materials include aluminum or brass/bronze pressure discs and locking collars for enhanced corrosion resistance.
- Simple installation eliminates the need for special conduit end preparation or thread compounding.
- Blank fittings available for abandonment and future use (not for field drilling).
- UL Listed (E-11857) for outlet bushing, service entrance seal, or service head applications (Type CSBG with aluminum pressure discs).
