- Field Application: Set Screw type transition fitting ideal for commercial and institutional facilities. The 4457-DC is used to securely join 1" EMT to four 14/2 to 10/3 (.43" to .61" Diameter) AC/MC/MCI-A/HCF/HCFMCI-A or 3/8" flexible metal conduit. These fittings provide a huge labor savings, compared to the traditional junction box or fitting assembly installation. When using AC/MC/FMC cable simply remove the armor and expose the conductors to the desired length needed to reach the device box or enclosure. The use of anti short bushings is recommended. Tighten the steel screws for the 1" EMT conduit. Patented.
