Metacaulk 150+, 10.3 oz Firestop Sealant
Metacaulk 150+ is a one-component, general purpose fire rated sealant designed for construction joints and through-penetrations. It prevents the spread of flames, smoke, hot gases, and water, making it suitable for use in firestop systems within commercial and industrial buildings. This water-based, non-sag caulking grade sealant cures to an elastomeric, flexible set that accommodates dynamic movement. It is easy to apply using conventional caulking guns or trowels and is compliant with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and ASTM E1966 (UL 2079) standards, offering up to 4 hours of fire resistance. Ideal for electrical distributors and lighting solutions suppliers, Metacaulk 150+ is compatible with various penetrations including EMT, telephone and power cables in concrete and gypsum walls, and wood floors.
