This Mersen Fuse Base is a 600 Volt, 30 Amp single-pole in-line fuse holder designed to accommodate 1-1/2" x 13/32" (10 x 38 mm) midget fuses. It is engineered for quick installation in electrical distribution and lighting solutions, including street lighting, parking lot lighting, traffic signaling, sports lighting, and marine environments. The fuse holder features captive securing nuts or screws to streamline field assembly and three internal O-rings per pole for a water-resistant seal, suitable for humid and corrosive environments. Optional cone-shaped insulator boots provide additional watertight protection. The fuse holder's breakaway versions safely disconnect the load during pole knockdown events, ensuring safety and easy reconnection once the pole is restored.
