The Fuse Amp-Trap® A4BY Series is designed for protection of service entrance equipment, feeder circuits, and circuit breakers, making it suitable for electrical distributors and lighting solutions requiring reliable wire and cable protection. This Class L fuse is a 100% rated device capable of continuous current operation up to its ampere rating with a 4-second minimum time delay at 500% rating, allowing it to handle normal current surges and coordinate with ground fault relays effectively. It is commonly used in mains feeders, load centers, panelboards, switchboards, and metering centers.
