The Fuse Amp-Trap® A4BY Series is a Class L time-delay fuse designed for protecting service entrance equipment, feeder circuits, circuit breakers, load centers, panelboards, switchboards, and metering centers. It is a 100% rated device suitable for continuous currents up to its ampere rating and features a 4-second minimum time delay at 500% rating to allow normal current surges and coordination with ground fault relays. This fuse is commonly supplied by electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers as part of lighting solutions and wire and cable protection systems.
