EYS4 IMC/EMT/Rigid Conduit Sealing Fitting for Hazardous Locations

The Appleton EYS4 is an explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight sealing fitting designed for use with threaded IMC, EMT, and rigid metal conduit in hazardous locations. It prevents the passage of gases, vapors, or flames through conduit systems, restricting explosions to the sealed enclosure and preventing pressure piling. This fitting is suitable for Class I Divisions 1 and 2 (Groups B, C, D), Class II Divisions 1 and 2 (Groups E, F, G), and Class III applications, meeting NEC and CEC standards. It is commonly used by electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers for secure conduit sealing in industrial and commercial lighting and electrical installations.
