The Evolution Series Floor Box Flush Style Cover with Carpet Insert is a low profile, die-cast aluminum cover designed for use with the Evolution Series 6, 8, and 10-gang floor boxes (EFB6, EFB8, and EFB10). It is engineered for electrical distributors and lighting solutions providers requiring durable, adaptable floor box covers compatible with wire and cable management systems. The cover is suitable for finished floors such as carpet tile and wood and can be made flush with polished concrete or terrazzo floors when used with the separately sold EFB45-CTR ring. This cover features a robust hinge allowing 180° rotation and two slide egress doors that lock open and close automatically around cables, enhancing cable management and reducing trip hazards.
