Class J Fuse Reducer - J Fuse Reducer

Mersen Class J Fuse Reducers enable the use of lower rated Class J fuses in existing equipment with clips rated for higher amperes. Designed for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, these fuse reducers improve circuit protection by allowing closer rated time-delay fuses to be used, such as replacing renewable or one-time fuses feeding a motor with fuses sized closer to the motor nameplate current. These reducers are rejection-type and fit only Class J clips, and are not intended for bolt-on applications.
