Mersen Class J Fuse Reducers enable the use of lower rated fuses in existing equipment with clips designed for higher ampere ratings. This product improves circuit protection by allowing closer rated time-delay fuses to be used, such as replacing renewable or one-time fuses feeding a motor with fuses sized closer to the motor's nameplate current. Specifically designed for Class J fuses, these rejection-type reducers fit only Class J clips and are not intended for bolt-on applications. Suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers focusing on precise fuse sizing and enhanced protection.
