Class H & K Fuse Reducer - Fuse Protection Solutions

Mersen Class H & K Fuse Reducers enable the use of lower rated fuses in existing electrical equipment with clips rated for higher amperages. These reducers facilitate improved circuit protection by allowing the installation of time-delay fuses sized closer to the motor nameplate current, which is beneficial for renewable or one-time fuse applications feeding motors. Suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers, these fuse reducers accommodate Class H, K, or R fuses fitting Class H or K clips with non-rejection types, while rejection-type reducers restrict fitment to Class R or Class J fuses accordingly. Note that Class J fuse reducers are not intended for bolt-on applications.
