Class H & K Fuse Reducer - Fuse Reducers for Electrical Protection

Mersen Class H & K Fuse Reducers enable the use of lower rated fuses in existing equipment with clips designed for higher ampere ratings. This allows electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers to improve circuit protection by using time-delay fuses sized closer to the motor nameplate current or equipment requirements. These fuse reducers are suitable for applications involving wire and cable protection and lighting solutions where precise fuse rating adaptation is necessary. Non-rejection reducers accommodate Class H, K, or R fuses to fit Class H or K clips, while rejection-type reducers restrict fitting to Class R or Class J fuses only. Note that Class J fuse reducers are not intended for bolt-on applications.
