Metacaulk BlazeSeal is a flexible, highly intumescent firestop material designed for use in fire rated door and door frame assemblies. It provides a positive pressure seal in the clearance areas between doors and frames, preventing the passage of flames, smoke, and hot gases. Suitable for use by electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers involved in fire safety and building code compliance, BlazeSeal supports fire door standards UL 10C, NFPA 252, and IBC 716.2.
