The AX-100 expansion fitting by O-Z Gedney is designed for use with rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) to allow for expansion and contraction within conduit runs. It is suitable for electrical distributors and switchgear suppliers requiring reliable conduit movement accommodation in lighting solutions and wire and cable installations. The fitting supports a maximum conduit movement of 4 inches (2 inches in either direction) and is intended for applications involving IMC, where a minimum 15-foot length of rigid conduit should enter the fitting due to the smaller outside diameter of IMC.
