The Greenlee Adjustable Voltage Detector (Model GT-16) is designed to detect the presence of AC voltage in electrical circuits. It provides an intermittent tone and a flashing LED indicator to signal voltage detection, making it suitable for use by electrical distributors, lighting solutions providers, wire and cable professionals, and switchgear suppliers. This tool is ideal for identifying hot and neutral conductors, locating breaks in wires, and testing outlets, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, and various wires and cables, including Romex®.
